IN UGANDA AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE ARE REPORTED DEAD. THE VIOLENCE BROKE OUT THURSDAY AFTER POLICE PREVENTED A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE TRADITIONAL RULER OF THE BUGANDA ETHNIC GROUP FROM TRAVELING TO A REGION NORTH OF THE CAPITAL. THE BUGANDA TRIBE IS THE LARGEST ETHNIC GROUP IN UGANDA. HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH ACCUSES UGANDAN POLICE OF USING "UNNECESSARY LETHAL FORCE."
